Since Oracle just certified Oracle Database 19c on Oracle Linux 8, I have decided to install it. The original article of installation is below:
However, while invoking runInstaller, I saw a blank screen of runInstaller as below. So I decided to run it in debug mode using “./runInstaller -debug” which then showed the issue..
To solve the issue, Simply set the parameter below and re-execute runInstaller.
export CV_ASSUME_DISTID=8.2
